Edgebrook Equestrian Center show team had another successful weekend at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center in Katy, Texas this past Saturday and Sunday, January 7 & 8, 2017. Despite the frigid temperatures, we had four riders do amazing in their classes, two to win Reserve of their divisions and one win Grand.

Sophie and Addison both moved up to new divisions this year and walked away tied for Reserve. We had two girls that showed for the first time and did amazing: Camille won Grand Champion in her division with three firsts and a second. Ellen got second in her equitation class and had an awesome first run in the Pony Division on her pony.

The team’s next competition will be on Sunday, January 22 at Edgebrook Equestrian Center.  Classes starts at 8am and will go through ~2pm. All are hoping for warmer weather and a big crowd to cheer them on to a victory.
