Our lesson program is proud to offer a diverse, well-trained string of horses and ponies suited for riders of all ages and abilities.
All lesson horses are available for full or half in-barn lease, and select horses may be available for purchase. Leasing is a wonderful way to deepen your riding experience while enjoying the consistency of a horse you know and trust.

Squirrel
2005 Arabian / Hackney Cross
Famous for his bouncy trot, Squirrel is truly worth his weight in gold when it comes to teaching correct canter transitions and first jumps. He is an excellent confidence-builder for riders moving beyond the basics and rewards balance and good position with honest, quality work.

2006 Small Welsh Cross
Dreamer is a kind, athletic pony. She has proven herself a reliable partner and is missed when not in the lesson lineup. We look forward to welcoming her back full-time in the future.
Rosa
2006 Cremello Mare
Rosa is a barn favorite for adult riders. She offers one of the smoothest canters in the program and a willing attitude that makes learning feel effortless. A wonderful partner for riders seeking confidence, comfort, and consistency.
Charlie
2010 Welsh – Medium Pony
Charlie is a master teacher. With a naturally steady rhythm and classic pony personality, he excels in the Walk/Trot through Short Stirrup divisions. He’s trusted with the toughest pony lessons and consistently helps riders learn balance, timing, and control.
Paris – Currently half leased through March 2026
2011 Quarter Horse
Paris is the ultimate confidence-builder. Quiet, dependable, and an excellent trail partner, she is perfect for Walk/Trot riders gaining experience both in and out of the arena. A wonderful choice for riders looking for a steady, reassuring mount.
Rojo
2011 Quarter Horse
Rojo loves the trails and brings that same relaxed confidence into the arena. He is well-suited for riders learning Walk/Trot/Canter and progressing into jumping. Honest, willing, and fun to ride.
Sugar
2013 Medium Pony
Adored by Walk/Trot kids, Sugar also packs plenty of motor for more advanced division riders stepping up to jumping. She’s versatile, brave, and loves her job making her a top pick for growing riders.
Juliet
2014 Small Welsh Pony
Juliet is wonderful with our littlest riders and first-lesson kids, offering patience and kindness from the start. She can also step up confidently for beginner jumping riders, making her an excellent long-term partner for young equestrians.
Wilbur
2017 Paint
Recently returned to our lesson program after being consistently leased for the past four years, Wilbur is a fantastic option for adult riders and taller teens. He can channel his inner western pleasure jog or step up and cruise around a novice course with ease. Versatile, smooth, and fun.
Princess
2014 Medium Pinto Pony
Her name says it all. Princess is a dream for first-time riders and happily carries students all the way through the Medium Children’s Pony division. Elegant, reliable, and forgiving, she’s a barn favorite for riders and parents alike.
Marty
2017 Appaloosa
New to the program and learning about jumping, Marty has fit in beautifully. With a super personality and a naturally smooth, slower ride, he’s an excellent choice for riders who appreciate a relaxed pace and a friendly partner.
Rush
Warmblood – Currently Leased Off-Site
Rush has been successfully leased at the same barn for the past three years and is the short stirrup/novice packer extraordinaire. While we know he is thriving in a great program, we eagerly await the day he rejoins the herd at home.
Boone
Paint
Smooth as glass and always willing, Boone is the kind of horse everyone wants to ride. He’s happy to go wherever he’s pointed and gives riders a confident, enjoyable experience every time.
Carl
Welsh / Warmblood Cross
Carl is an exciting project pony with a great start. He is available for a trainer or experienced division rider to continue his education and bring him into the show ring where he belongs. A fantastic opportunity for the right rider.
Stormy
Fjord Filly
Stormy is halter broke, growing up nicely, and ready to be taken in any direction. With her breed’s versatility and temperament, she’s an exciting prospect for the future.
Mary
2012 Red Roan Quarter Horse
Mary has many years experience as a western pleasure lesson horse as well as English jumping. She is the newest member to our lesson herd and we are excited for the kids to be able to gain confidence and take her back to the show ring.
Steve
Warmblood
A solid, easy 3’ Adult Amateur Hunter, Steve is Mrs. Sayers’ personal horse and is occasionally used in lessons for advanced students. With an amazing personality and proven show record.
Mac – RETIRED 
1999 Quarter Horse
A true veteran of the program, Mac is a retired reiner from the Texas A&M Equestrian Team with an unmatched resume and heart of gold. While retired from regular lessons, he remains active in birthday parties and special events, happily packing riders and soaking up the attention. Mac is the definition of safe, steady, and dependable.
Tuley- RETIRED
1996 Quarter Horse
Another TAMU Equestrian Team reiner, Tuley has earned his retirement from the lesson ring but still enjoys being part of the action at birthday parties and special occasions. He brings decades of experience, kindness, and reliability to every rider lucky enough to meet him.
